Aris Goldschmidts's journey is a compelling blend of rigorous academic pursuit, athletic discipline, and a deep-seated calling to the trades. A product of Long Island's Gold Coast, Aris's early life was marked by both intellectual and athletic excellence. He was a dedicated lacrosse player, a passion that led him to represent the Latvian National Team on the international stage. Academically, he distinguished himself at Bucknell University, graduating early with honors with a dual degree in Economics and Russian Studies.
Upon graduation, a promising career in finance on Wall Street beckoned. However, Aris felt an overwhelming spiritual conviction to follow a different path. This was not a change of course, but a redirection toward his heritage. Coming from a long and distinguished lineage of tradesmen, builders, and design professionals, Aris recognized a divine pull to use his mind and hands to build and to serve. He had already begun this work as a teenager, mastering the craft of carpentry. This early experience, combined with his academic discipline, provided a unique foundation for his future endeavors.
Driven by a desire for mastery, Aris went on to become a foreman and project supervisor for three of the most respected construction companies in the Lake Placid region. Through this work, he not only honed his technical skills but also gained an intimate understanding of the Adirondack building market. It was here that he identified a significant void: a need for a building model that prioritizes professionalism, proven systems, and a client-centered approach.
Drawing on the meticulous standards and innovative methods of his Long Island roots, Aris has developed a unique model for the Adirondacks. He believes that customers deserve to work with like-minded, professional builders who employ proven systems and genuine empathy to create outstanding projects and, most importantly, delighted customers.
